• To insert a chalk, first press and hold the button on the head of the holder, then insert the chalk into the holder, keep it from shooting out with your hand, then release the button.
• When extruding the chalk, hold the front of the chalk holder at an appropriate distance from the blackboard or your palm before pressing the button.
• When removing the chalk, hold the extruded part of the chalk. Then, press the button to release the chalk.

• Not suitable for chalk with a cross-sectional diameter of less than 1.1 centimeters.
